Abstract
Objective: To establish association of sinus bradycardia with COVID-19 that is mostly asymptomatic but creating panic situation in wards.
Methodology: This cross-sectional study was conducted in a period of 2 months at a tertiary care hospital in Karachi. Individuals between the ages of 20-65 years having positive COVID-19 PCR, using convenient sampling technique were included. Patients with comorbidities that can affect heart rate were excluded. Heart rate was monitored continuously to document bradycardia, lab parameters and Chest X ray done to evaluate COVID-19 severity. Outcomes were also measured. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 25.
Results: Out of 200 individuals included in the study, 76 (38%) were found to have bradycardia. We also found out that 148 (74%) individuals with a Temp >99 had a pulse rate <90, with an odd’s ratio of 2.03, thus, showing Relative Bradycardia.
Conclusion: We found that a huge majority was discharged home safely and majority had bradycardia. Thus, it can be postulated that, bradycardia occurring in COVID-19 patients is asymptomatic and doesn’t require any urgent intervention.

Key words: Bradycardia, Covid-19, bradyarrythmia, tachyarrythmia.
