Effect of husband's support on anxiety level of mothers giving birth

Abstract
Objective: To analyze correlation of husband's support with the level of anxiety and length of labor in women giving birth.
Methodology: This cross-sectional study included a sample of 60 maternity mothers. Sampling technique used was purposive sampling method. Inclusion criteria were gestational age 37 to <42 weeks and the mother is in a normal delivery process. Data were analyzed by using chi-square.
Results: We found that 100% or 37 respondents with good husband support had a mild level of anxiety compared to husbands who lacked support in the delivery process. There was a correlation between husband's support and the level of anxiety (p=0.00).
Conclusion: There was a correlation between husband's support and the level of anxiety.
